Mar 08, 2008· To me grinding an endmill has some problems built into it that say grinding a larger milling cutter doesn't have. It's rather difficult to adjust the tooth rest to center because of the helex and how it contacts the rest. With a 6" milling cutter this is a piece of cake even with helical cutters.
